| OhioLINK LANDSAT 7 Satellite Image Server |
|
The purpose of this program is to provide satellite imagery of the state of Ohio to researchers, teachers, the general public, and other potential satellite data users. It is meant to serve experts and non-experts alike.
Urban growth, natural resource loss, and crop health are a few of the environmental issues that may be monitored with this type of satellite data.
Note: All image data acquired by the Landsat 7 Enhanced Thematic Mapper Plus (ETM+) from July 14, 2003 to present (excluding a 2-week interval from 9/3/03 to 9/17/03) has been collected in SLC-off mode. For an explanation of the SLC failure and the SLC-off mode of data collection, see http://landsat.usgs.gov/slc_off.html A Global View of the Earth (K-12 Teacher's Kit developed at Ohio State University) About This Project Using This Image Server (Help) OhioLINK Digital Media Center OhioLINK Home |
